PLAN YOUR TRIP
Have a trip in your head? Let’s make it real.
Maybe you know exactly where you want to go but don’t want to spend three evenings comparing 47 hotels.
Maybe you know when you can travel but haven’t figured out where.
Or maybe you’ve already created a beautiful little monster involving multiple cities, trains, hotels, a cruise, and at least one connection that seemed reasonable when you booked it at midnight.
I get it.
I’m Matt Lutz, a Fora Travel Advisor, and I can help you turn the idea into a trip that actually works.

What can I help with?
Depending on the trip, I can help with things like:
Hotels and resorts
Finding options that fit your destination, budget, travel style, and what you actually want from the trip.
Cruises
Comparing cruise lines, ships, itineraries, cabins, and the details that can make two seemingly similar cruises feel completely different.
Tours and experiences
Helping find the things worth building into the trip instead of simply filling every empty square on the calendar.
Transportation and logistics
Thinking through transfers, trains, rental cars, timing, and how the pieces of a trip fit together.
More complicated itineraries
Trips with multiple destinations or moving parts where having another set of eyes on the whole thing can be particularly useful.
Why work with a travel advisor?
You can absolutely book travel yourself.
We do it too.
The value of a travel advisor isn’t pretending the internet doesn’t exist. It’s having someone help sort through the options, think about how the pieces fit together, and spot things you might not know to look for.
Through Fora, I also have access to preferred travel partners around the world. Depending on the hotel or booking, that can sometimes mean additional benefits such as breakfast, hotel credits, upgrades, early check-in, or late checkout.
Not every property offers every perk, and some benefits depend on availability. I’d rather tell you what actually applies to your trip than promise you a parade and a pony.
I plan travel the same way we travel
Linda and I have traveled a lot of different ways.
House sits. Hotels. Resorts. Cruises. Road trips. Trains. Rental cars. Long trips. Short trips. Trips that flowed beautifully and trips where somebody clearly should have taken the itinerary away from us.
That experience affects the questions I ask.
What do you actually want this trip to feel like?
What matters enough to spend money on?
Where can we simplify?
How much moving around is too much?
And do we really need to leave the hotel at 4:30 in the morning just because Google says technically it can be done?
A good trip should work in real life, not just on a spreadsheet.
Ready to start planning?
Tell me what you’re thinking.
You don’t need to have everything figured out. A destination, some possible dates, a celebration, a cruise you’ve been eyeing, or even a simple “we want to go somewhere” is enough to start the conversation.
